Benefits of being bilingual
Parents who don't speak English get student help
By Marcus K. Garner

This story appeared in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Sunday. What a great idea and a win-win-win-win for all involved. A local high school uses its bilingual students as interpreters/translators for non-English speaking parents and non-Spanish speaking teachers. It has motivated the teenager featured to stay in school (a win for her) and provides a win for the parents, teachers, and students (a win x 4)! See the link below for the full article.
