Vince,
Oops, I neglected Grover Whitehurst (certainly didn't mean to!) who is
currently the Director of the Institute of Education Sciences in the
Department of Education, has published extensively on language and
pre-reading development in young children and has done/been involved in much
of the research on dialogic reading.

Subject: [FamilyLiteracy 1220] Reading Literacy
Our organization is closely working with two celebrities that are interested
in starting a teenage & child reading literacy program. We have over 50
after-school programs this can be taught in, and are looking for a top
'reading literacy expert' to help design and implement an effective program.
This program will be fully funded and appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
