Starting date delayed-still time to register!
Due to a scheduling change, there is still time to register for Penn
State's online course, Adult Literacy (ADTED 457). Class will now run
September 9 - December 9, 2009, and there is still time to register.
This course allows you to focus on your own area of interest within the
field of adult basic and literacy education, including, but not limited
to, family literacy, workplace literacy and workforce development,
health literacy, financial literacy, and information literacy. Use
journal articles and free publications (no textbook to purchase). There
are no prerequisites and a background in adult education is not
necessary to successfully complete the course-students participate at
their own level of experience and need.
