I am new on this list serve and as all the rest learning a lot from it.
I am a pediatrician at Columbia and run a health literacy program. We
worlk with the LAC mentioned in above email to improve our health
literacy materials. Our focus in peds right now revolves around the flu,
H1N1 and the common cold. We also have a curriculum that focuses on
medication use. WE did focus groups to inform the content and then wrk
with our community partners to improves the written material. I strongly
suggest this community partnership model as a way to inform your program
