Mariann, Kelli, and others ...
We created the Webquests that were mentioned below by Mariann as part
of the NIFL LINCS Technology Training Special Collection. The
Webquests for Adult Learners include How to Find a Good Job, Eating
Right for a Healthier Life and Managing Your Money. In addition, we
also designed and posted several other Webquests that might be of
interest at the following URL:
http://www.altn.org/techtraining/webquests.html
Websites ... Which Ones Should You Trust?: is a WebQuest on learning
how to evaluate websites.
Adult Education WebQuests to Download: includes several WebQuests in
Word. All would be appropriate for Adult Education (Make Your
Consumer Voice Heard, Wheels!, Ready, Set, PARENT!, and Let's Go Out
to Eat!). Also includes a guide to writing a WebQuest.
Dream Vacation WebQuest: was designed in PowerPoint.
These WebQuests include an alignment with SCANS and CASAS
competencies and provide guidance to help teachers with
implementation. Hope you find these useful.
