Thanks David! I really enjoyed the Youtube link! I passed it onto friends not in the Literacy community-just for a "fun break" , too.
On a more serious note, regarding change, I'd like to offer the following web link.
While the web is aimed primarily at organizational change, I'm sure we can see that this cycle can be applied to all of us, at any give time, in any given change scenario. www.changecycle.com/changecycle.htm Further there is training required to deliver the materials and info. which is under copyright restrictions.
I've seen this presented and it is an excellent resource for educators and workforce professionals particularly- and most anyone. It certainly pertains to transition, too. The issue for most of us is the danger zone. It is often at this point that we loose our student/clients (when one can go straight back up to stage 1-loss, not progressing around to the left side of the cycle. That short cut back to constant loss can be a devastating and vicious shot circuit cycle for many people.

Technology Colleagues,
The Twitter co-founders apparently care about world literacy and, if
you read to the last line of this article, have a sense of humor the
relationship of Twitter to literacy. : - )
